It's Travel Tuesday again! Today's photo is (obviously) from Venice. This was my first time visiting and it happened to be on the day of the Vogalonga, a celebration of all rowed/paddled boats. Anybody with a non-powered boat can participate in the event, and the canals were filled with gondolas, kayaks, rowboats and the like. A beautiful sight.
Venice made a lasting impression on me, literally... I missed a step exiting a bridge and fell pretty hard. It's been exactly 6 months to the day, and my foot seems to be permanently scarred (though it's much less visible now).
