This year, like every year, I attended the Bach Birthday Bash in downtown Tampa. The concert takes place in several churches, including Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a beautiful old-world style church (the only one of its kind in the city). The celebration concludes in a nearby Episcopal church.
The concert always includes pipe organ works (hence the church setting), but these days also often includes violinists, pianists, cellists and singers. As a lover of all things Bach, this is always a treat for the senses and I never miss it. :-)
