We just bought this lovely passion vine, but used to have this in the backyard years ago. It grew like a weed and we had hundreds of seedlings. I loved it! Over the years, we lost most of the seedlings, and the last one disappeared a few years back. I really missed it.
The passion vines you normally find in stores are different, they're the (mostly white) 'cultivated' kind, not the (purple) 'wild' kind that grows freely in these parts. So I was beyond thrilled when I saw Home Depot was selling this wild variety, exactly the same one we had years ago!! Can't wait to plant it in the garden.
