Robin's nest

This nest is above a door in a public building so people are going in and out all the time. I've seen the robin sitting on the nest but she gets spooked when someone gets too close and flies away. Poor robin. This was not a good place to put a nest. I did get a pic of her sitting on it but I was farther away and it was kind of dark there because of the short hallway, so it turned out blurry. Hope robin doesn't get too stressed.
Birds often make the wrong. I had one make a nest in a fern beside my front door.

I don't know why they do that, one put a nest at our gate....bad place! I hope we get to see some babies~ (perfectly composed, by the way)

what a great find! hope it works out for them in that location. some times birds don't always seem to pick such great spots. hope we get to see more.

Ps - There used to be a tv sitcom called "Robin's nest" in the UK many years ago.

@jenrobcarr @sabresun Thank you very much for commenting. Haven't seen any babies in it yet and the mom's still there. We'll see what happens. Interesting about the Robin's Nest sitcom, Matt. We didn't have that here.
