Marilyn, this is just too coincidental!!! When I had surgery back in 1993 my mother got me one of these bluebirds--"The Original Bluebird of Happiness" at the hospital gift shop. It is in my china cabinet. What else do we share? We need to take inventory ;-) This is a lovely shot and such a good idea!! My bluebird is surrounded by lots of blue items, too along with the original tag and note from my mom. I really treasure it and definitely need to take a photo for Year 3. Hope I remember when the time comes.
@cimes1 Carole, it is getting spookier that we seem to have similar things, LOL. That's amazing you have the same kind of bird statue. What a sweet gift to get from your mom. I got two of the birds at a glass shop and when we visited the shop another time with some friends, one of the friends bought me another one. I really hope you will post a picture of of your bird sometime.
@mittens Well so far, we have Frosty, the Smiley mug, the bluebird and a very similar white bear. :-) I will definitely need to watch out for your photos even when I'm on break!
@jodimuli Thank you for the suggestion. I didn't even think of that with this shot. I like your idea. Then they would have had a blue background which would have worked well.
