She keeps trying to find warm spots because it has been so cold here. The highs have been in the 20's F lately and snow is predicted for tomorrow. She doesn't like me pointing the camera at her. Silly kitty.
Like this shot Marilyn, you have the same camera as i have, 500D, and you get the same result as i get, white get's blown out,
tip which I tried tonight and it helps,
I took a shot of a spider on a light coloured wall, flash f/5.6, 18" away from subject. focused as you do, and place a sheet of white paper in front of the flash.
try it.
@dannydavies Thank you Danny. I did not use a flash on this shot. The light is just from the sun shining in the window and she was trying to keep warm in the sun.
@mittens Yes, I can see that the light comes from the side, But it does happen when you are close to the subject and your f/ No say f/5.6 with flash. you can find tips on.... facebook.com/practicalphotographymagazine.....
She doesn't look too happy you are taking her pic. That is true. Our lows are in the 20s and highs in the upper 40s or low 50s. So not too bad here. Your cat is smart to find the one b it of sunshine to sit in.
What a cute shot of Mittens. We finally got out of the 20's, it was 30 this morning and will climb to the 40's in a few days though a bit warmer later in the day.
