Gorgeous! I haven't been to Cooper's Rock since college. My hubby's ROTC used to go there to rappel, but it was down by the interstate. We are going to have to go there on our next trip in. It's only about 90 minutes from my in-law's house.
@homeschoolmom Thank you Lisa. It was beautiful there. We saw people getting gear out of their car and it looked like they were going to go rappelling.
@dianeburns Thank you Diane, I'm sure the people are safe. I didn't venture out on the walkway due to some mild mobility problems and because I'm uncomfortable with heights but my husband did walk out a short distance and he said it was safe.
Fav.....Spectacular view. Great composition to set this off with that wonderful fencing and rock formation. I can just smell that clean mountain air from here.
@khawbecker Thank you Khawbecker. We did not have to walk very far to get to the overlook. There was a parking lot nearby and a short walk through some of the park to get to it.
