i would love to know more about this building. Where is it? When was it built? Is it still in use? Is this in your neighborhood? It invites many questions!
@teiko@byrdlip Thank you Emilie and J A. This school is not in my neighborhood and I really don't know anything about it. It was one we came upon on one of our photo rides. It was across the street of a new elementary school.
@pyrrhula Thank you Pyrrhula. The schoolhouse looked to be empty. We saw a newer school building across the street from it. I really don't know anything about this old schoolhouse.
@vernabeth Thank you Beth. The schoolhouse looked empty. I don't know if it will be used for anything or not. We saw another newer built school across the street from it.
@nanm@skstein Thank you Nancy and Sandy. The building didn't look like it was being used but I don't know for sure. We saw a newer school across the street from it I guess that replaced it.
Love the structure and how it does look like an old school, but not toooo old!! I like also how it looks a bit like a house!! The front porch and all!!! FAV!
Something in this shot - I cannot decipher what - makes me fav this shot. The colours are beautiful, the patterns of the bricks are beautiful, too, and so is the whole picture.
Love your school photo, It has been well built Marilyn, if you knew the name, then it could be traced on Google. fav.
