This mansion has tours through it but my husband and I only walked around the grounds and didn't take the tour. We had to chuckle when we saw the pay phone in this little open area near the mansion. You don't see pay phones much anymore.
Great staging with the phone in the archway to go with your clever caption. I like how the mansion is framed by the stone archway and this is truly an excellent b & w capture. I think there should always be a scattering payphones for emergencies. Not everyone has a cell phone and also what if we forget it?
Fantastic B/W capture!! The pay phone is hysterical!! Did you pick it up to see if you got a dial tone? I haven't seen a pay phone in years!! Then to have it by the mansion is even funnier!! @cashew Thank you Kathy. I thought it was pretty funny, too. I didn't think to pick up the phone to see if there was a dial tone. I wish I had. I didn't think of it until I was editing it but it was too late then. Oh well. Your response gave me a good chuckle.
