Our peony bush is in bloom. It used to belong to my husband's mom. When his parents passed away awhile back and we had to sell their house, we dug one of the peonies up and planted in our yard. I love the color of it.

A lovely capture of this gorgeous coloured peonies . So good to have plants in the garden that have special memories of your loved ones , my garden is full of plant from my parent's garden either a rooted cutting , a plant that had been split or seeds from their plants and from other friends -- your garden then becomes a treasure of fond memories !!
I love peonies and have quite a few bushes. we do split them when they get too big. ours need a few more days of sunshine before they unfold. in the meantime, I enjoyed looking at yours. fav.
