HeeHee I had a hard time getting this picture. My husband had stopped the car while I pointed the camera out the window. The camera wouldn't focus and wouldn't take the shot. My husband said a car was coming up behind us so to hurry. The camera finally snapped one shot, the squirrel took off, and we got moving as the car behind us came closer. I wish I could have spent more time on getting this shot.
That is adorable Marilyn. Hate it when the camera does not want to obey and has its own mind. I find it very frustrating indeed. Thankfully, you have a patient husband driver.
Such is the life of all great photographers and their chauffeurs. 😃 I like the story and the title AND imaging what you would have done if you had a more cooperative squirrel and a little more time. I think this one is excellent under the circumstances.
It is frustrating when the camera decides not to focus on the subject we wish to capture (most often it is our own fault). Still you caught a cute shot of this lovely little squirrel.
The squirrel looks cute half hidden in the shade of the tree. I know what it's like when you quickly stop the car and try to get a good shot before the car behind you comes too close and the driver gets antsy.
