We drove down to my daughter's house in Florida for Thanksgiving and we passed these trees in West Virginia. They were really pretty and fortunately the roads were fine and clear.
Thank you very much for your uplifting comments.
Yep, that's what it looked like at my in-law's house on Saturday. That's why we delayed coming home a day. Glad the roads were clear. We were worried they wouldn't be up on the "mountain."
We drove those roads, mind you it was in the summer. I like the roads going up and down. yes, the trees look pretty. look nice beautiful trees. glad the roads were clear.
Several years ago when drove back from Florida the whole length of Rt. 19 from Beckley to I-79 was snow covered. It was a treacherous ride. Looks like you just got to enjoy looking at snow covered trees in the mountains of W.Va.
W. Va. roads can be pretty treacherous in the winter- but they sure do look pretty in the snow. Good shot- glad you were out of harm's way and had a nice visit with your daughter.
