Uh oh- definitely a bit confused! But I have seen them do that in my garden too. I think it has to do with when the bulb was planted- but that could be my imagination at work! Good catch.
Ha! Ha! These flowers are frauds. I was fooled for the first time too. Now I know that it is Colchicum autumnale, commonly known as autumn crocus. Lovely shot.
Great find and beautiful shot. I think this has been a crazy year for the plants. A zinnia in my garden seeded itself at the end, almost, of Summer and now it has started to bloom.
