Seaford Head by moirab

Seaford Head

I went on a socially distanced birdwatching field trip. On the first part of the cliff there is a kittiwake colony. They come here to breed and then head back out to sea. Further along where it is whiter and it looks like a seagull wing part of the cliff collapsed recently. Still there were people standing on too taking photographs making me feel anxious.

Great view! I didn't know kittiwake (not a word you learn in your English lessons), Kittiwakes are seagulls?

@gijsje they are a smaller kind of seagull. The ends of their wings look like they have been dipped in grey paint and they say kittiwake kittiwake.
