I love the b&w. This looks like a sculpture.

@mikelskoog thank you very much. These are the remains of the roots of a fallen tree. When i edited this photo i had your work in mind. I even attempted a feeble frame. But i think i should have left out either the frame or the lens blur.
But i overall, i am happy with the photograph.

We’ve seen so many downed trees with the recent storm Zeta that came though... this is a beautifully composed, richly toned B&W.

Scary how fast the month slipped by. It's my favorite of the year, so of course it was destined to go by faster than others. Gnarly root you found. Great in B&W.

I like your treatment and frame work for this tree trunk.
We were so looking forward to October with it's beautiful autumn colors but dreading lies ahead. well before we get into winter, we shall still have over a week of Indian Summer.

this looks like some dead something rising out from the beyond (or underneath!). the black and white really gave it character. aces!
