@delboy207 Yes indeed. If you look closely, there are in fact 2 stumps supporting it. The other stump is shorter and is a bit hidden by the fence.

I see it too! Well spotted. Thanks for the kind words yesterday. You did some pretty amazing work yourself. I like how you experimented with some of the in-camera effects such as selective colour and pinhole. Also lines, shapes, reflections and the way light plays on objects. You did well. This sooc challenge was such a creative spark.

An informative plate says it's an oak tree estimated to be over 600 years old. Who am I to doubt that? It has a concrete reinforcement on one side. A very impressive tree indeed.
