I watched the sunset on my break this evening, sitting on a basalt cliff as the tide was slowly rising and the waves crashing all around. I’ve heard of the green flash phenomenon when the sun sets over the ocean and conditions are just right you can see a quick green illumination just as the sun lowers below the ocean’s horizon. Today I witnessed it and even though I didn’t get an actual photo (because I was watching instead of snapping) I’m documenting this moment. Breathtaking!!
