On Wednesday I bought a new kettle, but it leaked badly on the first boil. So, I returned it yesterday for a refund and bussed it to Garden City in search for my perfect kettle.
It was easier said than done! I went to three stores before I found this wonderful Kambrook kettle at Big-W for $38! I love it!
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
I've always loved these dome kettles... I'm not sure why, but I have. And so when the time came to replace my old one, when it began to leak water everywhere but into the teapot, I started looking at the type I wanted... and this was it. :D
Great shot of your shiny new kettle! We have a similar one (though our's is a bit taller and less round). I hope it brings you many refreshing cups of tea and/or coffee :)
@degarvey@digitalrn@bkbinthecity@alia_801 Thank you all for your lovely comments. I do love this little kettle... it's so very cute! And I was considering getting it in a gorgeous splash of colour, but thought not to in case I painted my kitchen and it didn't match - whereas stainless steel matches everything! It 's just like black, the colour that matches everything - anyway, I love my little Kambrook kettle, it's so lovely to use and never gets in the way... unlike my old kettle which was always bumped. :P
