Today, I had a couple of friends over to celebrate my birthday. It started out a bit wonky, but turned out a great day.
The first friend arrived, and fell ill. He ended up on my bed feeling dreadful and I had to call an ambulance! So, off to the hospital we went and I followed them. I came back home and waited for our other friend to show. When they did, we hung out and chatted until Geoff called from the hospital and we went and picked him up.
Then, we got some food into him, kept an eye on him and got into to what we were getting together for... my 40th. I was doing some Life Modelling tonight; and we jumped in, put on some music and I pulled out all the stops and did some great poses for my two artists.
This photo was taken during our 20 minute break in between posses. I was beginning to tire and now it's late and I'm looking forward to getting myself to bed. I've made $35 tonight for 3 hours work... not bad for a first try out.

@tesssa@digitalrn Thank you both for your lovely comments. I had a great day - well after my friend was released from the ER... otherwise he's in good health, just stressed out. We got in and enjoyed hanging out, listening to 'Moonflower' by Santana on vinyl with me modelling and the artists drawing me... just the thing to do on a Saturday night! :D
