Shepherds watching their flocks by night

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you; You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manager. "

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."
like a postcard.

Nice, because of the bokeh effect of the background lights, that also have the same colors of the shepherd.

@esmeanne @marlboromaam @paulaag @carmel @sabanford @sabanford @marilyn @judithg @arayofsrqsun @bruni @djepie Thank you all for your very kind words. I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas & Holidays! I have been seeing so many bokeh shots that I wanted to try to get one to work. I haven't mastered the technique but I'm getting there.

@myhrhelper: bokeh is very difficult with a compact camera. One of the main advantages of a dSLR is playing with aperture / DOF. And this also is very necessary for a good bokeh photo: as wide aperture as possible (smallest figure) and as much distance as possible between sharp object and lights. But your shot with the compact camera shows even with this kind of camera it is possible.
