Obsolete train tracks by myhrhelper

Obsolete train tracks

They are disappearing - at least around by us - the old train tracks have been converted to bike & hiking trails. My husband & I ride our bikes on them several times a week during good weather (when it's warm enough).

This is not a real train track but a miniature model. One train hobbiest has builds large size trains that people can actually sit on top of. Once a year, he opens his yard to the public and people bring their kids and they hop on one (of several) of the trains he has made. He doesn't charge but does ask for a donation. Kids love it, many adults do too. He has very unique, and even antique trains as well. His trains come in different sizes.
Super model, I have my dad's Lionel train and a few tracks they are fading fast, nice capture!

I like how the lines of the tracks take you through the picture. Just the right DOF too.

Maybe they would have made a comeback, but it's too late now. Very impressive shot.
