Decay to Rebirth

My amazing get pushed partner Taffy gave me a choice of 2 challenges. I decided to give both a try. This one, "Focusing on leading lines, capture the movement as we transition into spring." is much more difficult than I imagined. Here is an abstract interpretation. I photographed a daffodil through a decaying tree stump . I liked how the curl of the brown bark lead to the yellow of the flower. For abstract April as well.

Hope, this is so creative! I think the transition is captured well with the contrast of brown into yellow.

You did create an abstract version of spring . . . and if you were in Chicago today, you could capture an abstract idea for spring altogether with the leading lines being snow falling!!!

very conceptual. definitely needs a title to get all that, but I think it also stands on its own as visually interesting!
