This image I posted at @Madhatters was inspired by some of Rousseau's "women in exotic forests" paintings.
Rousseau painted jungles ,forested and exotic landscapes even though he never left Paris.
He claimed to have had "no teacher other than nature".Essentially he was self-taught and is considered to be a naïve or primitive painter.

Haven't had the time to look at this before now... Very clever idea to make a collage like this. You've caught the colour palette quite well.
