I'm really annoyed with this photo...I had a vague picture in my mind of how I wanted it to look and urgh it just doesn't look right! I really need to get better at editing...if anyone has any tips on how to edit this picture, it would be greatly appreciated!
I wanted to try and take some more shots here, but some horses started galloping at me so I grapped my tripod and ran...xD
It's been a bit of a thoughtful day today. There is a lot going round my mind. Hm.
I hate when that happens--I've had "pictures" in my head and just couldn't get them to translate. Sometimes, you have to let it go or try and photo the composition again if it really irks you. That said, I think the photo looks good. Maybe take up the greenery colour a notch? What feeling were you shooting for?
I don't think it's the editing. You stuck the camera on a tripod and used a timed shutter thing to take the photo? The thing is, particularly with photos like this you really need someone behind the lens "directing" the photo if you know what I mean. I usually spend an hour trying to take a simple portrait of myself, I wouldn't try to shoot a full photo like that on my own!
I really like this shot! And you did it yourself?! Wow! I know it may sound silly, but my favorite part is the feet. For some reason, I like the angle of your legs/feet on the fence. It just flows well.
