I was full-on up for a photo-walk, so off I went. Got my camera out of my bag ready to take my first shot...anddd no battery. Urgh, I was so annoyed you have no idea! So I got my point and shoot out of my bag (luckily I had that one with me!) and took a few shots. Then this bloke came and started talking to me which was a bit creepy xD He said he knew me but I didn't recognise him...then I realised it's the guy I see on my way to the bus stop every morning who tried to teach my welsh in Y7...so that was a bit odd... So he stayed for a while talking to me about school, photos and deer...I don't even know why xD Anyway, by the time he'd gone I was just really fed up and not in the mood for taking photos any more.
But I ended up with this. I couldn't even see what I was taking as the sun was bright on my screen...and I missed manual focus big time. I'm going to have to go back on another sunny day and get some decent shots!
Hmmm, this shot does kinda describe my day a bit I guess. I was so windy and manky weather playing tennis this morning! And now I'm going to have a bit of a chiller this evening, doing some art and watching some TV :) Oh...in other news, I've managed to get another shift at the restaurant on Wednesday evening, so I can't have done too badly!!! And I get to learn how to use the till on Wednesday night...exciting times! :P
ooh how exciting about the job!!!! awesome!
I must say that this picture did come out really well! I really love the colours and editing! So fabulous capture Naomi! :D
re: wow, I'm sorry about the clothes thing. It always slips my mind about how formal sixth form is. :/ I'm sure you'll find more fabulous clothes with friends eh? :D
This is beautiful!!! I know you can't necessarily see it because the day contained so many annoying things (believe me, I understand completely), but I do love this. :) Your focus is pretty spot on - I like how some of the reeds in the front are just out of focus. It adds a beautiful depth to the picture. And I love the slight tilt of the horizontal, and the way the reeds have been blown in the breeze.
That turned out quite well for being "a blind shot"! That's the biggest drawback of the little P&S cameras...I love the convenience of carrying mine, but I can't see the screen on a bright day! Well, congratulations to you for your success!

I like this though! Interesting
topics to talk about though... Deer? Haha :)
I like this shot.
