Day 242: 30-08-10

I was stuck between three today! The one I've posted, this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/naomisproject365/4942471677/in/photostream/ or this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/naomisproject365/4943064190/in/photostream/. They all had something different about then which I liked!

In the end, I decided to go for this one, I like the depth, the colours and the way the man-made, hard, sharp spike contrasts with the natural, curly, soft piece of whatever it was xD.

I went on a walk this evening to get photos, the light was lovely and there was so much beauty around!!! Unfortunately, my photo-ing just wasn't quite working for me. I was on the wrong settings or couldn't get the right angle or whatever! (I was probably being too much of a perfectionist :P) but anyway, I like these 3!

Great shots. I am partial to the long wire on your Flicker, but I really do like all three. The background color is what draws me into this photo. The patch of vine is a nice soft touch. Kudos.

What's wonderful about ALL of them was that you considered different options as you were out making your photos. I had an art teacher who once said that a wonderful year-long project would be to take the same subject and analyze it repetedly. She felt we'd learn so much from class like that, and this start here is a good example. In the end, you made a nice choice, and for the reasons you stated...the hard edges juxtaposed with the softness of nature!

Lovely photo. Barbed wire is very photogenic. Naomi Asda seems to have the best ranges for clothes just before X-mas. Its the only time I really splash out on clothes :)
