This photo really sums up Autumn for me. On the way to my old primary school, there are 3 conker trees. As I used to walk to primary school, I had the chance to pick them up every day. I remember leaving home early some days to get to the conkers before the other children who walked to school! We used to have competitions to see how could collect the most, though we never did anything with them once we'd collected them.
Now, I just pick them up occasionally when I'm walking along and hold them in my hand, rubbing them with my fingers. It's relaxing and calms me down and brings back happy memories.
I didn't get back from babysitting until 1.15 this morning so I woke up late, played tennis, did some art coursework, went to a church talent contest thingy (I won a book for my photography and they want to show it in an art fair next week!) and then I had an 18th party tonight! Busy day!
