'At worst I feel bad for a while, but then I just smile I go ahead and smile'
Feeling much better today :)
I had quite a productive morning :)
Art is driving me crazy. I finished my final piece but some Y7s knocked it and it broke, so all week I've been trying to fix it but for reasons I'm not going into right now, it won't fix properly and every lunchtime/breaktime/free this week I've been popping in to try and sort it out. Today a boy in my class was asking stupid questions about it and being really, really annoying so I began to get short with him but I saw my teacher coming so I just ignored him :p She understands though :) She was saying how frustrating it is that it was finished and now it's not, and that I should lose any sleep on it and I've done amazingly well to stay calm :p Then as I was walking out the room she was like calm, stay calm :')
Then, on the bus tonight, this old lady stood up to a girl and a boy in their 20's who were openly talking about sex very loudly on the bus. Only, they were being so disrespectful back to her! It was horrible and shocking. I took my Ipod out to listen in and she sat down saying she was getting breathless from standing up to them. She looked like she was going to stand up to them again so I chatted to her until she got off the bus :p She was actually really nice! And it kept her from making things worse :') People in my generation shock me sometimes. Where has respect, morals and values gone?! Seriously!!!
Glad your real smile is back in place. You sound extremely wise for your age. I believe that parenting, or lack thereof, has a lot to do with how young people treat their elders. It's obvious you have had great parenting, and way to help the lady out when she needed it. I hope you are able to fix your art project. Great pic, BTW.
This is a cool shot. I am glad things are settling down, even if a little, for you...and it was very nice of you to comfort that lady until she got off the bus.
Love this shot! Your bus story both shocked me and made me smile. So happy to hear you talked to her after that upsetting encounter. Hope you can fix your final art piece.
You are so cool and have such a mature way of dealing with the world. Love this shot and all it represents. Kudos to you. (good luck getting your project back together!)
