I took a picture very, very similar to this, almost identical, in fact, 371 days ago: http://365project.org/naomi/365/2010-07-14. Do you think he's changed much in the last year? The weather certainly hasn't!
Today was my brother's leavers service. On Friday, he is leaving primary school. It was quite emotional. I first went to that primary school in September 1998. There has been a member of my family at that school every year since then. That's 13 years!!! It's also the primary school that I worked at at the end of last year. I can't believe he's leaving! I think he's ready to leave...and I think my parents are ready to see the back of that school...but it's going to be weird.
Seeing him up there though, he is definitely ready to move on (although he will always be my little brother :p). He's confident, happy...cheeky :p He sung with his choir, won the music trophy, got a sports medal. I hope he keeps all of these interests up when he starts high school in September. It's amazing how much has changed in a year...I wonder where we'll all be next year...
What an amazing post! It's interesting to notice the changes that are experienced. I think he has grown...in many ways. Beautiful. I'm sure you will look back on this picture in years to come.
Wow, this is a great shot and it was so nice to compare it to your other one. Yes, he has grown quite a bit. His face looks more mature. Good luck to him in High School. Hope you feel better soon...
Hard to tell if he's changed all that much...the umbrella covers half his face in the previous photo! Though the change to long pants makes him look more mature. :D
Re: :/ Well, at least you don't have school or anything, so that's good. Haha, I wear shirts that go just about to my elbows always, unless I'm in the mood to wear long sleeves, but the only way to get shirts with sleeves like that is if I get a size too large, which I prefer anyway. XD Some of my friends have been telling me off for wearing baggy clothes all the time. :P
