Whenever I think about the war, I always think about the soldiors and how they were real people, they belonged to real families and had real friends. They were loved, they had potential. They were probably terrified, many of them were my age, some younger. That's so young. And they left home and went to a horrible, horrible place. So many lives were lost to fight for our freedom. Lives of people who were brothers, nephews, sons, fathers, husbands, boyfriends, uncles... I don't agree with war. I don't think it's right. I think that there should be more peaceful ways of doing things. But I still respect soldiors and believe that they are incredibly brave and do deserve our respect for putting their lives on the line to fight for our freedom.
In other news, I've finished the last bit of practical for my Chem coursework (a week early :p), I've done a load more DT, I have worked my backside off this week and my brain can tell, but I'm at work tomorrow which will be good :]
What a fantastic tribute to the soldiers, and I tend to share your views. Utmost respect for those that put their lives on the line for freedom. I absolutely love this, great dof and perfectly composed.
