I've had some lovely texts/messages from people today. I'm so lucky to have the amount of support around me that I do. People can be amazing sometimes.
I'm feeling rather disconnected from this site at the moment and it's a little demotivating. It's not the fault of anybody, the same happened last year, it's just how it is. There are so many new people and I just can't keep up with even flicking through the topics posted on the discussion boards at the moment because there seems to be a new discussion popping up every 5 minutes and I don't spend my day in front of the computer... Not to mention even beginning to look through any photos... :/
Great strong green, Naomi! You have posted so many photos here and been around for more than two years... you have probably heard a lot of the same phrases and words over and over again. After a while it can become blasé. But I also see that you are doing the same type of shot over and over again. That might also be a source of demotivation. Change can be a good thing... as can thinking out of the box. I hope you can find a way of stimulating yourself into seeing things differently and under a new light if you are still into photography. Hope I haven't stepped out of line here... just trying to help.
It's interesting...I am feeling that same sort of overwhelming feeling with the site. I think it's just the time. It's new to some people, not to us. Perhaps, it will improve. I'm just trying to focus on the people that I follow, ignore the posts, and post my pictures. That takes up enough time. So...having said that, I like your image and it does show strength and you do as well.
Yes,it's a little strange.Some people with great photos till now are leaving because they've completed their 365 project and a lot are coming.

Nice one Naomi - know what you feel - I've not commented for over a week - going back to work, New Year Blues etc etc I'm sure we;ll all get back in the groove soon :o)
I have no time to read the discussions and some times even not time ore to tired from work to place a photo, but still feel at home here becouse it is oke and in my feeling it is all about the love of making and being busy whit photograpy.
So I hope for you Naomi that you can go whit that feeling and get the flow to go on, becouse I love you're photo's
I have had a hard time being motivated here as well. I'm glad you have a great support system at home. I hope you continue your project. Maybe you just need to take a few days, or more, off. I'll bet you'll miss it and want to come back! At least I hope...
Beautiful. And I know what you mean about the disconnect, I've felt it, too - but I do remember it passing last year so I'm trusting the same will happen this year.
