6 months... by naomi

6 months...

6 months since Mum died.

The cross: Dad bought Mum for their engagement
The wings: I bought Mum during cancer round 1, so we were always with her
The necklace: Given to me (with cross and wings attached) by Mum when she woke up form a coma last February.

I miss her.

big hugs to you Naomi...thinking of you and remembering my own mum who passed a few years ago...it does seem to get worse before it gets better...but it does get better...time heals...just keep on looking after you...speaking as a mum, that's what i'd want my kids to do, look after themselves and live well...(more big hugs)

This is beautiful in so many ways Naomi. You have real talent with the camera which I know your Mum would be proud of. Keep taking great photos for your Mum and yourself. Take care.

So incredibly sorry for your loss. I am very close to my mom and can't imagine losing her. My heart hurts for you. Try to find comfort in your memories. I'm sure your mom would want to you carry on in her absence.

I didn't realize the loss of your mother was so recent, and I'm so sorry, Naomi. You don't speak of any siblings with whom to share this loss and I can't imagine how difficult it might be to bear all this alone. I hope you find some solace here and think of us as your supportive friends, The happy photo of your mom is the person I'll think of when you speak of her. I hope that soon you'll always remember these times the most!

I lost my Mum when I was 18 years old. I made the mistake of holding all those feelings in and eventually it got the better of me and I still suffer with depression and anxiety at times. You will always miss her but , and I know it's a cliché, time does heal. I think this is a most beautiful and poignant photograph. Sending you virtual hugs xx

A beautiful tribute to your Mum, given from you to her, and then from her to you, so she's always with you. I lost my Mum a couple of years ago too. *hugs*
