This is not a very interesting looking item. It's a simple plastic ringbinder with some separators in it. But when I put it under my macro lens, the result was really cool! I went through it at both appointments today which is why it's my photo of the day.
I met my new care coordinator today, and my GP, did a few hours work, went to Pets at Home, and went on a run. It was all too much, really. I'm consciously planning in less than I did pre-hospital, but it's still too much. I always forget that six months go I was on a general ward plugged into all sorts, not allowed to walk. It's not long ago at all, really. Then I haven't really moved much over the last six months. So it's a big leap.
I had a bit of a wobble this afternoon, but instead of wobbling all over the place, I played with Lucky, text a friend, and used my work colleagues to offload to. They have many wise things to say which was really helpful. This is only day 1, really. There's a long way to go.
Every journey is like that- but the fact is that you're moving toward a positive goal and that's a good thing! Even the best planned trips hit a little traffic on the highway now and then.
Beautiful photo. Love the colors and lines, and it has a sense of movement to it, which I think reflects your movement into another phase of your life.
@overalvandaan that is very true!

@helenhall thank you! I started back at work (at this job) a few hours a week a while ago while still in hospital - it's remote working:)
