It should have been Mum’s 56th birthday today so met my friend and we played 4D glow-in-the-dark golf and went to the outlet shops including the Cadbury's outlet (I got some mishapes, yay!).
Mum was all about chocolate and fun!
If anyone else feels like joining in the celebrations, please have some chocolate on Mum (she loved dark so for the dairy-free ones of you it still works!) and hug your little ones extra tight today.
Naomi, I have made tea, and at your invitation am enjoying a small piece of Green and Blacks Dark chocolate with orange and spices. I'm thinking how proud your Mum would be if she could see how hard you are working and how determined you are to come through all of your difficulties.

Nice memories of your mum. Mine liked chocolate too. I did end up having chocolate today (cookies and cream ice cream)- before I saw this so I guess I sensed it was the thing to do! The golf sounds really fun so what a great way to honor her birthday. I agree with Helen- I think she'd be really proud of how far you've come!
