Paint and Trim

Half pink, half green. Ready to carve tomorrow when they’ve dried a bit more. Funny how the camera distorts...(the two at the front aren’t really on such a weird angle)
I love the colours. I really notice the distortion when I try to take photos of buildings. The angles always look wrong.

That distortion thing can be really annoying, specially when photographing buildings. I noticed that a lot on my trip to Ireland last summer. I honestly didn’t notice in your photo, I was too busy looking at the pretty colors.

@merrelyn @beckyk365 thank you both. I struggle with the buildings too.

Lovely pots. Perspective distortion is absolutely normal when shooting wide angle and when the camera is tilted. My guess is you were holding your phone at an angle - neither vertical nor horizontal. That is why buildings lean over - because you are normally standing at the bottom tilting the camera upwards. And trees lean over too, and coverge - but that is a creative choice we are used to and use a lot. People buy expensive tilt shift lenses to overcome the converging buildings. And then others apply tilt shift effects in photoshop to tiny towns to make it look like big towns ....
