The Humps

Another large granite outcrop 16km from Wave Rock. Spectacular views, beautiful little worlds within rock pools, stunning colours in the rocks.
Loved this area, we were camping here this time two years ago, despite having lived in Perth for 20 odd years we never managed a trip to Wave Rock so it was high on the list this time!

Absolutely lovely. It sure looks like this area with wave rock has to be a bucket list place if I ever manage to get to Australia again

@judithdeacon I think when you live in a place, there’s often a lot you miss!

@beckyk365 it was quite a spot...I loved the colours and textures in the rocks. Got me inspired about ceramics again!

Nice shot. It a great area to spend some time. Did you drive the Tin Horse Highway?

@merrelyn No?!

@narayani What a shame that you missed it. The road runs between Kulin and the Kulin Race Track (about 15kms). In Paddocks all along the road are amazing and very quirky horse sculptures made mostly from old drums. It started as a way to to market the races and has just kept growing. These are shots I took last time we were there. http://365project.org/merrelyn/365/2017-05-22
