A beautiful hot and sunny day and we went for a day trip to the Awhitu Peninsular. Spectacular views (more drive by shooting due to my husband not wanting to stop anywhere!), a picnic and a walk on a beautiful, almost empty, beach - a lovely day out.
I hope everyone had the best Christmas ever. Thanks for your comments and favs of my recent photos. Sadly no time to comment myself over the last few days but it's been a busy time but I have been looking and admiring all the beautiful photos of people I follow.
@roachling@julzmaioro@phil_howcroft@ditzy@vera365@eyesmile@craftymeg Thanks so much everyone. @maggiemae Luckily it's not too far from where we are Maggie and yep, this part of the road is quite high up which meant the view was gorgeous. @marymacaroni I'm glad your grandson liked my "trees" - always good to have a bit of help. @happypat This was the only place I managed to get my hubby to turn round and stop to look at the view... but only because I said his Mum (who is visiting from Wales) wanted to see it!!!! The rest of the time my shots were like panning shots with blurry bits at the front and some bits in focus in the background (luckily they look OK if they're cropped!). @cheekylulu Thanks Louise and thanks for the follow.
