The boulders sit outside under the exhaust for our heating system. With the humidifier running in the winter, there is moisture in the exhausted air. The drips on these boulders usually just evaporate or runoff except when it stays this cold for this long. The water freezes in place. This becomes a measure of how cold it’s been.
And yes it has already been pointed out that the shape is suggestive.
Cold is putting it mildly. When it went up to 20 degrees today it felt like a heatwave! No suggestive ice sculptures here, but I do recognize the one in your profile pic!
