Go Wild #6

This was not the image I expected or wanted for today. However, this was the sight as I left my office tonight at about 5 pm. That flat, dull disk in the sky is the sun. The sky is not cloudy but hazy and smoky from the wildfires in Canada. According to a news report, as of yesterday, there are over 150 active fires in the Quebec area and over 600 square miles have already burned. The smoke and haze cover the Northeastern US hundreds of miles away. Air quality alerts are in place up and down the North American seaboard. Prayers for safety for all.

I just read there are 400 wild fires up in Canada and that the drifting smoke is affecting 18 USA states and 100 Million Americans. I pray for Canada to get control of these wild fire.
