Thank you for the push...I need practice with minimalism and low key is something I haven't quite grasped yet. I'll see what I can come up with.
In looking back the past several months I don't see any of your street photography. My get pushed challenge is to get out and do some street photography. In the alternative if that doesn't work for you, I thought you could revisit an old image you weren't happy with and re-take it. I noticed you weren't quite satisfied with "thing", "sinister", or "waterloo" (I actually initially considered a food challenge until I read your comments on "waterloo") so these might be possible retakes. .....
I hope one of these works for you, but if not, let me know and I'll think some more.
@scarybird it's a kids' ray gun thingy... we have a gazillion large nerf guns... a few toy tommy guns and rifles... and the ray guns... but no fake revolvers... this was the closest i could get to a "gat" ;p
@aecasey tx! i'd love to do some street - sadly, with a job change back in the spring i am rarely in a good spot, and even more rarely have the time... but i will see what can do... in any event, i'd love to retry sinister and it would be fun to try the "thing" again... so lots for me to play with here... tx!
this is awesome! as per usual! must gift you with a toy revolver for Christmas. we should have a meet up before both of us become crazy busy with all these holiday crap coming up!
@northy - drat! fort york closes its gates at 4. what kind of sonamagun is that?
how about at the market? it's closed after 6 but the outside patios are open. there's the park also by the flatiron building. and there's a little parkette by the cinema and right across is the st. james park and the cathedral although i don't know if there are a lot of street people in there. and then of course there's the harbour but perhaps not on cold days/nights. i'm limited here in the east end and the only places i know out west is that place where we were last time. if i think of anything outstanding i'll let you know.
