The river is over it's banks. The main picture is a view down stream from Wilford Toll bridge, the path by the river is right of the red lifebelt holder.

@koalagardens Thank you, we haven't had it so bad as some areas of the country, this is the highest I have seen the river. Nottingham has very good flood protection measures in place. All along the river towns and villages have flood protection measures with large areas of the flood plain are not built upon
