Since my zoom did not co operate with me today, I am posting one of my shots from my visit to Bev's Mountain a few weeks ago. This is the full barn view of the barn window I posted recently.
@jesperani Thank you Jennifer! @bruni Thank you Bruni! It's possible that the building could be "younger" than the foundation, but the paint has weathered off, the windows are all missing, and there is nothing inside, so I'm assuming it's old and unsafe. However, it does make for a fantastic 365 subject!
Great shot, Ann!! It looks better in color then my black and white looked! I also think that having a beautiful day in our favor helped as well and it brought out the fall colors in the surrounding area. I just had to fav this and not because of bias because it was taken on my mountain but because it's beautiful! Well done! :)
@bruni - I think it's all the same age.... that barn has been there forever!!
@prttblues Thanks Bev! I'm glad you are happy with the shot- after all you were so gracious pulling over every 10 seconds so I could hop out and take pictures!! This barn really was one of my favorite stops- I still have one or two pictures I didn't even post yet! Oh, and just a thought. I read on a photo site and another pro photographer said the same thing that with digital it's best to take the shot in color and then convert to black and white. You get better contrast in your b/w that way. I'll have to play around with this on a rainy day and see what happens. And thanks for the fav!! @edie Thanks Edie! And thank you so much for the fav!
@eudora The picture is gorgeous but it doesn't show the enormity of the barn... It's a huge one! I love seeing it in Ann's photos! @olivetreeann I didn't mind stopping every 10 seconds! I had a blast!! We have to do it again! :)
Thanks to all! Thank you Lisa, Judith, Brian, Taffy, Karen, Jackie, Claire, Rick, Roe Jan, Dione, Nicole, Carole, Donald, Terry, Hope, Gerry, Henri, Alia, and Katie!!
@kandkids @gerry Karen and Gerry thank you so much for the favs! They mean so much to me!!
I'm so glad you all like this shot- it's one of my favorite landscapes from our outing that day.
@anazad511 Thanks Ana!
