Originally, the city of Astoria was on pillars over the Columbia River until it burnt to the ground. when it was rebuilt they left all the pillars in the water. These are seen everywhere around this town, covered with moss! A very cool sight!
Now that I have gone back over your entire year and looked at most I want to say Jerry you have come so far, this shot is another outstanding shot with a great bit of history behind it and just might land on a wall some day in some restaurant or even some fine dining somewhere in that town ya just never know.... keep up the good work!
