This is a shot from one of the oldest grave yards in San Diego. The oldest grave was dated in the early 1800's. To some of you, that's not late at all, but here its like the beginning of time! ;o)
Great angle - love the shadows - interesting pic - I have a weird non-mobid fascination with graveyards so this pic caught my eye immediately. Nice one!
Whoa.. the shadows make this shot ever so much more somber and depict the fragility of life .. for such a reverent place the photo does it well... nice shot!!!
Great shot - love the composition and amazing shadows. Once I wouldn't have though this too old, but living in Oz its pretty similar and always a bonus to find a little history!
this reminds me of a film ive a seen where the white people had graves with head stones & outside of the cemetary fence were wooden sticks marking where the black slaves were buried cause they werent allowed to be in the graveyard, amazing what people got away with in the old days!!! fantastic shot love it x
1800.. is that all ;o) Yes jerry we have houses older than that.. dating back to 1600's and even older graves lol.. I love this little bit of history, its really fascinating.. thansk for sharing :)
