I stumbled upon this grove of trees. I don't know what they are growing here but I just loved walking through these bare trees all lined up so neatly!
Happy Hump Day!
@lilredcamera Thank you, Beth! It went on forever! @bdb3471 Thank you so much, Brian! That is such a great compliment coming from you! :) @scottkaway That's exactly what I would call them! :)
@hjbenson Thanks harry! @harsha Thank you, Sri! @bekahbell Lol! Thank you, Bekah! @lorihiro Thank you, Lori! It makes me want to run naked screaming! :o)
I like the repitition... The trunk makes me wonder if they could be cork. I'm no expert but it's just strange the way they seem to be missing some bark.
Hmm, I was hoping I would find the answer to what kind of trees they were in the comments. Whatever the case, beautiful shot with your gorgeous signature tones!
@myautofocuslife I love your imagination, Livia! Thank you! @pepperandpeach Ooo, you might be right! They had a sign out front selling apples is why I thought they were apple trees! I'm really not very good at recognizing plants and trees! @top2042 You two must be right! Where is @bobfoto when we need him! Thanks for the comment!
@aspada Thanks, Amy! The bark is strange! And they are all at the same height! @sleepdozer57 Oooo, I like it! Your right! @jlhopgood What a great Idea! Fun to put the different seasons together! @angieqs Thank you, Angie! @pwallis Me too! Thank you, Paula! @michellina Thank you so much, Michelle! @definitelydeb Lol! Thanks, Deb! @timandelke I thought it was some kind of pest control at first, until I got close! Maybe some one will know for sure! @daliadestructo Thank you so much, Dalia! @kloud Lol! Hump day is a term we use for Wednesday!
Gosh..trees growing out of stumps...?? Bizarre, but yes, very, very beautiful! I'd want to get a gorgeous woman with porcelain skin wearing Victorian clothes and photograph the heck out of her in there - with a parasol!
Oh my deciduous knowledge disappeared shortly after I entered the Tropics... it is so much easier when there is blossom or leaves... Sorry Jerry, but a great shot!
You know my arms are injured....right? Do you know how long it took me to scroll down to leave a comment? Jeesh, my index finger hurts (I'm so fragile) lol- just having fun ;) These trees.....hmmmm~ so perplexing. I wonder if it's some sort of trunk protection system made to look like tree bark- certainly more pleasing to look at than traditional tree trunk protection- but who knows. Terrific photo in any case! The composition is super-d-duper!

"Hump Day"? And here I was under the misapprehension it was International Earbud Day... well, go figure.

They use weird root stock grafts.
And of course, they sell apples there. ;o)
