Last night we lost our kitty Felix. She has been a part of our family for 15 yrs. She has been through 4 moves, a marriage, two babies with continuous ear and tail pulling, a puppy, and another cat in her house! She was a trooper and very loved! We will miss you Felix! R.I.P!!
Oh Jerry. I'm so sorry about your loss. My 19 year old cat passed away last year. I know what you're going through. This is a wonderful tribute. I'll be thinking of you!
awe so sorry to hear about this jerry :( It is never easy losing a family pet...bc they are family to us. i am sure most of us on here have gone through this similar situation at least once....and it isnt easy. Hugs to you and your girls! beautiful tribute to Felix!!

oh I'm so sorry, Jerry. It's never easy to lose a beloved pet, part of your family. She (and you) was blessed with a nice, long life and I'm sure you all have lots of wonderful memories.

What sad days, i've just commented Gretchen's photo, she lost her cat too... My only beloved cat flew away to cats's sky to catch the skyey mise 3 years ago - and i still miss her, especially when seeing her in my dreams or photos, i wish to embrace her so much.. She had cancer, and she had the surgery twice, although at that time she was approaching her 14 birthday and all vets recommended not to torture her with this but put down, untill when i found one wonderful vet who did the operations - and my cat lived happily and healthy after that for a couple more years and passed away at 16. More than a half of my life at that time, and i couldn't imagine myself without her.

Felix sounds like such a good buddy! It's hard to see someone every single day for 15 years, get non-stop unconditional love from them, and then feel their sudden absence. I'm sorry for your family's loss Jerry:(

Oh Jerry, it is so hard to lose our beloved cats, they are a precious part of our families. I know she was well-loved and loved being a part of the family. Rest in peace, Felix. So sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss... Like you said to me about my loss, I know how you must be feeling right now. Animals really do become part of the family and it's incredibly heartbreaking to lose a pet. Always cherish the memories.

Oh Jerry, I'm so sorry I missed this one and so sorry for your loss. Even when pets are old and we know its coming, this is a hard thing. I hope the girls didn't take it too hard.
So sad to read this. Two years ago nearly to the day i lost my beloved maggie (19) and almost one year ago i lost my Charlie (15). Your tribute photo is beautiful. Sending a hug you way!

We are all doing fine! I told the girls that their kitty was now in heaven with her mother and that made them feel better about her leaving! I can't say enough about how much this means to me to come home from work and see all of you here! Thank you very much! ;)
