@luvthyclassics Thank you, Jesse! @jsw0109 Thank you very much, Jeff! :) @sabrinaromahn I hardly use mine but I love the effect! I would love to get a tobacco filter!
on my home page your shot sat just under this shot by Brenda , http://365project.org/liipgloss/365/2012-05-10 who is in Australia .. they sit kinda cool together sun & moon across the seas ... nice work jerry
OK Jerry, an ND filter has been on my list to get for a bit now, and THIS capture just shot it to the top of my list. Really love how this came out...it exemplifies Southern California's incredible sunsets so well! Awesome capture!
And this is why people want to live in Cali! I've only been once and only to San Diego, but wow, what a beautiful place! The coastline is much more interesting than endless, flat sandy beaches. Beautiful shot.
This is beautiful, Jerry! Fav of course! Is your ND filter the circular one that screws on the lens? I've been looking at these awhile and wonder which kind is best for landscapes. The rectangular ones that have a mount look more like what I'd want since you can slide it to match the horizon line. Such choices and decisions! How do you like yours?
@marlboromaam Absolutely, Maggie! Thank you! @socalgal They work great on ocean shots! My next is a tobacco filter! @soozieqt I really want the rectangle type your talking about! For landscapes the graduated rectangle type is the way to go! You can really get a great sky with them! I have the round that screw on the end of the lens because I use it for slow shutter speeds on ocean and water shots to give it that misty look.
My friend just got back from California and said it was the trip of a lifetime. WiIth views like you offer us daily I can understand why. Great capture
Great photo. I've learned something here reading comments. It puzzled me that you've got some much defintion in water using ND. I only knew about heir use for slow shutter speed.
Yes, I have to admit I'm a little jealous having the ocean nearby you....but, Kentucky is not such a bad place either. Love it Jerry! Great photo. Fav!
