Good thing I have your pics to take me away on my own little mini vacation! I'm off to London and then South Africa, after that a quick visit to Australia. :)

I know what you mean, Jerry. I was telling someone yesterday how much I loved this site....that I get to see how other parts of the world live. This site is not only inspirational, it's educational! BTW, I love this shot and it's a fav for me.
Stunning as always, Jerry. I'm a big fan of super wide beachscapes, Peter Lik's work got me hooked. I want the Nikon 16-35mm for just this type of shot.
@cameronknowlton Thanks, Cameron! For the longest time my wide angle lens just sat in my bag. I challenged myself to go a month without taking it off my camera and now I can't put it down! You will love that lens when you get it! Santa maybe!
I rented a Sigma 15-30mm over the weekend for my full frame Nikon D600, it was great. Looking forward to the improved sharpness and zoom range of the Nikon 16-35mm, if not the price, length, and weight that comes with it.

@karenann I have had mine for a year and a half and I haven't had any problems at all! I work that shutter too with about 100 or more pics a day! I love it! I've even dropped it a couple times! :/ It's really a great camera Karenann! I'm really happy with it!

This is beautiful...must have been during those days of negative tide (?). Love the color tones in this one! And yes, I too love what I call the "virtual vacations"! But then again...we live in paradise:)
