The Saturday before Easter is a big Easter egg hunt day around here! We hit two different Easter egg hunts this year! Funny, they throw these plastic Easter eggs all over the grass filled with candy and small toys, the kids line up and they blow a whistle! Shoes flyin', kids screaming, grass flying through the air...30 seconds later and it's all over! But what a rush! :o)

Nice shot! When I was a kid, they hid them...in crooks of trees, under bushes...but everything was smaller, less crowded, and less crazy back then. I did a scouts hunt where the eggs had prizes like winning a chicken or bunny. I won a chick. My mom was not thrilled, but we kept him. For a while. At the church, we had a hunt in this courtyard between wings and they hid those cellphane wrapped candy eggs...hard type marshmallow with colorful candy shell on the outside. Ever eat one of those when you were young?
@espyetta Sounds fun! I totally remember those eggs! I remember the eggs hidden too! Now they throw them across the lawn and that's about it! How fun you won a chic! One of my girls won an Easter basket! A lot easier to bring home then a chicken! :o)
