Ugh! I was out tonight for some pre 4th of July celebrations and a Redbull and Vodka spilled all over my camera! After freaking out and cleaning as much off as I could, My camera is left wounded! The LCD doesn't work and most of the buttons on the back don't work either! :( I also tried to down load some pics that were on the camera but my computer doesn't recognise my camera now! Looks like its off to the shop! I guess that camera I bought for my daughter is finally going to get some use whilst mine is recovering! Bummer!
I drove to Sunset Cliffs in OB today to check out some spots I use to visit for our San Diego meet up coming up next month! what a great place! I forget how beautiful it is there! This is a shot of a looong set of stairs that lead to the water! Down there are a load of caves, tide pools, and sea life! Looking forward to sharing this with you! :)
Sorry, Jerry! I think this wonderful place deserves colour! Particularly the word sunset! The challenge is to get an exciting photo from your back-up camera!
Oh gosh, horrors & nightmares & sticky redbull! Unfortunately haven't heard anyone say stick it in a sealed bag of rice like they do when a phone gets wet so here's hoping the repair shop can fix it. This looks like a great place for a meetup, wish I could join you.
@tigerdreamer I really hope you can make it too! I'll make sure it's on the 17th so you and Terri can go! Can't wait to see your shots from Germany! How exciting!
This is truly stunning! The way you processed it makes it so dramatic and I really love the sense of depth in it! I'm sorry about your camera - I really hope it will get fixed quickly!
Stunning shot. Sorry about the camera. My Olympus 520 got really wet a few years ago at the Victoria Falls and after letting it spend 2-3 days in the sun, she came back to life. Perhaps, your camera could use a dry out! Good luck. At any rate, this is a definite FAV.
I know now, since I am viewing your photos backwards, that your camera is going to live to see another day! Electronics can be amazing! once they dry out, they work again. I once worried about the metal clip IPOD shuffle in a summer race where we run through water sprays...I put it in a baggie, etc.. Got home, and forgot it was on my shirt, and it fell in the toilet. (pre-use! haha Thank gosh) I grabbed it super fast, and plugged it in. It worked.
Love the lines, the grit and POV!!! Sucks about what happened to your camera but thankfully I read on your other shot that all is working again!!!! Thank goodness :):):)
I hope they get your camera fixed for you!
this is a great shot. I hope I get to go to the meet up
